Tombstone 64 Inch A Arms for Polaris RZR Pro XP
Looking for the best A Arms for your Polaris RZR Pro XP? Well, you've found them!
We're Excessive Industries, and these are our Tombstone Front A Arms. Designed to look great AND work great. These arms add incredible design, strength and function to your Polaris RZR Pro Xp. Built from 11-gauge mild steel plate (4130 chromoly optional) and as close to a one-piece design as possible, they're built to take a beating!
A Design Like No Other
We don't like to be the same as the "other guys". We spent countless hours (nearly 300 to be specific) perfecting the design of these a arms to provide a visually appealing arm. There won't be a look alike until they are being copied by another company. When someone else sees these arms on your car they're going to want to know who built them, and we're confident you'll be proud to say Excessive Industries.
Designed to Improve Performance
So many companies build parts. Very few know how to actually improve the functionality of them. This is why so many parts look nearly identical to that of the factory design. At Excessive Industries, we aim to improve in every aspect with our products.
We've changed the length of the upper and lower a arm to alter the camber change through the wheel travel. From the factory, the RZR goes from 0 degrees at ride height, to positive (top of tire out) at droop and to negative (top of tire in) and bump.
Our design is race inspired and gives the car negative camber at ride height, going to 0 at droop. This keeps the camber change all on one side of zero instead of crossing back and forth depending on suspension position. While cornering, this set up provides more traction due to the angle of the tire to the ground providing it with more "bite". There is also a less likely chance of the car "tripping" over itself in the event of landing the car at an angle, nose first since it has a better chance of pushing itself out instead of trying to tuck the tire under the car. This also improves straight-line, high-speed stability.
As you can see, these a arms have tons of ground clearance which has been significantly increased over stock. In the event the lower a arm does come into contact with an object, it has a large 45-degree bevel across the leading edge to help the arm to glide up and over the object instead of digging into it and getting you stuck.
There are also numerous gussets that have been strategically placed on both the upper and lower arms to increase strength and durability where needed. And let's be honest, they look great too!
Spherical Bearings or Ball Joints
The arms pictured feature a 7/8 spherical bearing from FK Bearings and hardened stainless steel pins. They replace the ball joints in both the upper and lower a arm. This set up is significantly more reliable than the factory ball joint set up. They are also easier and less expensive to replace when the time comes to do so. This is an optional add on, so if you have a set of high-end ball joints, you'd still be able to use them. But we do know that the spherical bearing set up is the ultimate for strength and reliability.
Additional Requirements
These arms require a 15-inch wheel as well as a minimum of a 5+2 off set. Turbo S wheels (or any 6+1 wheel) may be used with the addition of a 1-inch wheel spacer. Stock 14-inch wheels will not work.
