Jeep JKU Rear Long Arm Kit (Triangulated)
Sick of dealing with all the problems from your rear track bar? Do you just want to eliminate it all together, but dont want to relocate your fuel tank or run a fuel cell? Are you looking for the ultimate in strength and dependability? Then this kit is perfect for you!Both our personal Jeeps that we've installed these kits on for testing drive better than they ever have. One is on 40's and the other on 42's. We can go down the freeway at 80mph with one hand on the wheel as if youre driving a normal vehicle. Proper handling is not due to the number of links you have, its all about proper geometry in the design of the kit. We spent countless hours designing this kit to be the best both on road and off road.
This kit includes two boxed lower links, one massive boxed upper link, all chassis brackets, EVAP skid plate and a rear truss system. This kit requires coil over suspension. This kit requires a low pinion rear axle.
Our rear long arm kit uses one massive triangulated upper link to eliminate both factory uppers as well as the rear track bar. No need to move your factory fuel tank, as this upper link is designed to work with the factory tank in its factory location! This link is mounted underneath the jeep, in between the frame rails. It has a single pivot point on the chassis and two pivot points on the axle which lock it in place side to side. This design allows for completely bind free wheel travel through the entire suspension cycle of your Jeep. It is built from high strength 3/16" steel plate which is precision cut, bent, and fully TIG welded for the ultimate strength. We use a massive hiem joint and double pinch bolt bung at the chassis and two large uni balls at the axle.
To clear the upper arm we had to relocate the EVAP Canister. We made it easy for you and include a heavy duty EVAP Skid plate that moves the canister closer to the driver side frame rail with simple bolt on installation.
The two lower links match our front long arm kit. They're built from high strength 1/4" steel plate which is precision cut and fully TIG welded. These links are adjustable on one side. We use the MetalCloak Duroflex Joints in both sides of the links.
Our weld on lower link brackets are made from 1/4" high strength steel. They feature a doubler plate that cups the chassis, wrapping around both sides of the frame. This spreads the forces from the suspension over a larger surface area on the chassis which helps avoid cracks from forming years down the road and provides the ultimate strength. We included alignment holes that match up to existing factory holes in the chassis for easy and precise installation. The brackets are angled to help them easily slide up and over rocks or any other obstacles they may come in contact with.
The weld on upper chassis bracket keys itself into place on the factory cross members for guess free, quick installation. It is made from high strength 1/4" steel and is precision cut and bent for a perfect fit.
Our rear truss system is the pivot point for the upper arm. The entire truss is made from high strength 1/4" steel plate that is precision cut and bent. It has the pivot points built into the truss and comes fully welded and ready to install on your axle. Currently we have trusses available for the Spicer Ultimate 60 and Super Duty Sterling 10.5 rear axle. This will be an expanding product, so check back regularly or contact us directly if you have a different axle youd like to run with our kit.
