Can Am Maverick X3 Front A Arm and Bulkhead Gusset Kit
We all know the Can Am Maverick X3 is prone to front end failure due to the thin steel used in building the car as well as the lack of any true second shear brackets. Our gusset kit addresses both of these short comings and gives your x3 the strength it needs to control all that horse power they packed into them.
Our kit includes 3 key components, a main bulkhead plate, upper/inner a arm gusset as well as a lower/inner a arm gusset, all produces from 3/16 steel plate which is cnc cut, bent and welded to bring you the best quality possible.
The main bulkhead plate is where all the magic happens. This plate ties in the upper and lower a arm mounting locations along with several others to maximize its reinforcement capabilities, a total of 12 additional locations to be exact . It can even be used to repair oblonged holes from a previous accident. (works with smart lock diffs)
Our Upper/Inner a arm second shear bolts to the chassis using existing hole locations and provides a significant increase in strength and rigidity for the mounting point of the upper arm.
Finally, the Lower/Inner second shear again provides a significant increase in strength and rigidity for the mounting point of the lower arm. Our second shear bracket is designed to capture the bolt studs the run though the chassis which provides a greater surface area to stabilize the lower arm over simply relying on the shear strength of the bolts. This provides a true second shear bracket for the lower arm.
