Can Am Maverick X3 Play Spec Front A Arms
Our Can Am Maverick X3 Play Spec Front A Arms are based directly off our Race Spec A Arms with a few changes to make them more affordable. Our Race Spec A Arms have proven themselves irreplaceable, so our Play Spec A Arms surely will not disappoint.
These A Arms have non adjustable, fixed pivot points for easy, guess free installation.
These a arms are built from 1/8th inch mild steel, which is cnc cut, bent and Mig welded to bring you the highest and most reliable quality possible. Tig welding is also available when selecting the chromolly option.
7/8 FK uniballs top and bottom come standard on our Play Spec A Arms as well as ZRP uniball studs (included). We also include a complete new set of pivot bushings with the a arms. You will reuse the crush sleeves from your factory a arms.
Another HUGE benefit to our arms is that the lowers do NOT have the bend around the chassis on the rear leg of the arm. You wont find this feature on any other a arm. At least not yet, as the industry is bound to follow. Whether its that no one else has even thought to try or they gave up along the way, Excessive Industries made it happen. Eliminating this bend in the arm means HUGE gains in strength and reliability. Think about it, where does every single factory lower arm fail? Right in that damn bend!
Now we know what your thinking, these are not high clearance arms! During the development of these arms, we found that when making the lower arms straight, we were only giving up 5/8th of an inch in ground clearance at the highest point over the stock lower arm. A small and rather insignificant price to pay for the amount of strength gained from doing so. But, the leading edge of the lower arm features a large 45 degree bevel which will help the arm to glide up and over anything it may come in contact with. We even have the option to add an aluminum skid plate to the bottom of the arm for additional protection and debris deflection.
The upper arm features shock mounts that are gusseted on both ends of the tabs. The shock mounts themselves are also an integrated gusset for the arm itself. The tabs key into the upper and lower plates of the arm, tying the uniball cup into the arm with 4 points of contact and distributing the load through the entire assembly.
